Madison Wilson will tell you that "swimming is her life". Growing up in Rockhampton, Madison's love of water was apparent from a young age, kicking and blowing bubbles in local infant swim classes. From there, her devotion to swimming and dedication to training has seen her relocate to Brisbane and rise through age group swimming, to fulfilling one of her ultimate goals of representing Australia.

In 2012, Madison qualified for the Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships for 100m backstroke and within the next few years, competed at the Australian Championships finishing with the top swimmers in the country. In the last twelve months Madison has become a rising star in the swimming scene, finishing within the top 10 fastest swimmers in the world, specialising in backstroke and sprinting events.

Madison has represented Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and most recently the 2015 World Swimming Championships in Kazan Russia. At Kazan, Madison won an individual Silver medal in the 100m backstroke, cementing her ranking of No. 2 in the world. Madison also won Gold and Bronze medals as a qualifying swimmer in the heats of the 4 x 100 Freestyle and 4 x 100 Medley relays.
