My Health Team MS Swimathon (Redcliffe)

Part of Team Zada

Pure Determination

My friend Ali who first became my friend in primary school is a source of constant inspiration. Constantly fitting more than anyone I know into each day, and giving so much time and love to her family and friends, it seems like she draws energy from a secret source! And always with a super positive outlook!

I was so naive and shocked when I learnt about MS when Ali was diagnosed. So far MS hasn't slowed Ali down too much apart from an occasional blip, but I know that it could as time passes. We need more research to improve the chances of finding solutions for all all living with MS. There is so much we don't know yet.

At a loss for showing her how much I care, I swim!

I hope you can help cheer along Team Zada this year.

I am taking part in the 2021 MS Swimathon, to join the fight against multiple sclerosis.

I am raising funds to show my support and your donation will make an impact to change the lives of people living with MS.

Did you know:

  • On average, more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS every week
  • The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age.
  • Three out of four Australians with MS are women

Your support will help fund essential services like physiotherapy, service coordination, counselling and symptom management, as well as MS research to look for better treatments and ultimately a cure for the disease.

Please DONATE to support our swim to help ensure no one faces MS alone.
