PLEASE READE THIS EBFORE YOU DONATE. I am taking part in the 2021 MS Swimathon, to join the fight against multiple sclerosis. You think I'm nutty? With your help for my fundraiser, how about a large undercut. Read below how I will achieve this.
Hi to all my friends and family. Now do I have you attention? Yes?
As you all know by now, this is the 3rd year that I have been working with MS Qld to change the lives of people (as myself) living with MS.
So how do I achieve this when you all of my friends and family tell me to slow down and take it easy and look after myself?
I am going to do a dramatic undercut with the words MS and symbol shaved into the back of my head.
I will wear my hair up for all to see until the end of the Swimathon. Yes you heard right.
As you may all know by now, that I am extremely vain and love my hair. But I want raise awareness of MS and to make a difference.
Option 1: Would you like to see me cry, on video, that I undercut my hair? Then in your donation please put the words "hair off" in the description.
Option 2: Would you like to see me smile?
Then in your donation please put the words "leave hair" in the description.
The highest amount, over $1000 as of the 4th March, for the undercut or no cut, is what I will do.
If the undercut is to go ahead, I will video the event, for all to see.
I am raising funds to show my support and your donation will make an impact to change the lives of people living with MS.
Did you know:
- On average, more than 10 Australians are diagnosed with MS every week
- The average age of diagnosis is just 30 years of age.
- Three out of four Australians with MS are women
Your support will help fund essential services like physiotherapy, service coordination, counselling and symptom management, as well as MS research to look for better treatments and ultimately a cure for the disease.
Please DONATE to support our swim to help ensure no one faces MS alone.
