I am taking part in the 2024 MS Super Splash, to join the fight against multiple sclerosis.
Hi! My name is Aimee, I am 18, and this is my 11th swim for MS!
I started these swims when I was six years of age and ironically got diagnosed with MS when I was 15 on Christmas Eve 2020. This was a very scary and daunting time but thanks to MS Queensland, the process was so much easier than what it could have been. They supported me when I needed information, referrals, guidance and I even got to speak to a specialist MS nurse about treatments and advise!
With the support of your donations, not only does it go towards funding the NeuroAssist information line, NDIS access and planning support and wellness programs, they can continue on providing the services they gave to me, to other families and newly diagnosed people!
